Our friends at Standish Humane Society are hoping that if we post Tori the cat as our pet of the week for a second time that it will be, paws crossed, the last time we talk about her! Without further ado, here is sweet kitty Tori.
Tori was brought to the vet to be euthanized because her owners were moving. The vet wouldn’t allow it and called our friends at Standish Humane Society for help. Tori is an extremely friendly female tabby cat that likes to be pet on her head, neck and chin, but not on her body – she does not like to be picked up or cuddled. If you are looking for a lap cat, Tori may not be the one for you. She is a big talker and will purr up a storm! She is low-key energy, laid back, and eager to be comfortable on the couch right next to her human.
She is overweight and on a strict diet. She doesn’t need prescription food, she just needs to have her calories monitored. Standish is looking for a home for Miss Tori that will be dedicated to continuing her weight loss program. She has tried to live in a home with dogs and she did not do well and was returned to Standish, and so she will need a home without dogs or cats.
