A large crowd turned out Saturday night to support the Scituate Animal Shelter Annual Gala at Indian Pond Country Club, in Kingston.
Maryann Regan, the Executive Director of the shelter, says seeing “Canine Ambassadors” like Summer and Sawyer, at the Gala, who were nursed back to health, after being dropped off at the shelter, severely emaciated and starving to death, is what they’re all about.
State Senator Patrick O’Connor of Weymouth, was the year’s guest of honor.
Deb Ryan, of Scituate, says she is a proud supporter of the Scituate Animal Shelter.
The Scituate Animal Shelter is a private, non-profit shelter that was founded in 1991.
