Three Contested Races Decided In Marshfield Election

Marshfield held their town election on Saturday.

The race for Board of Public Works saw Diane Jordan-Godwin defeat David Carriere by just 29 votes with Jordan-Godwin getting 519 votes and Carriere getting 490 votes.

Jordan-Godwin discussed her win during an appearance on the South Shore’s Morning News.

 

Joseph Pecevich got 518 votes to defeat Cecilia DelGadillo, who got 171 votes to win a 5 year term on the Housing Authority Board of Commissioners.

However, DelGadillo did win a seat for a one-year term on the board with 175 votes defeating Maureen Mossesso who had 107 votes.

The remaining races were uncontested.
