A man facing charges after a pickup truck crashed into a Quincy home.
Massachusetts State Police say that shortly before 2 a.m. Wednesday a 2016 Ford F150 pickup struck a curb, then the light pole before crashing into a home on Furnace Brook Pkwy.
The driver of the truck, 35-year-old Sean Lehane of Quincy, then allegedly got out of the truck, ran down the street, and entered some woods approximately 200 yards from the crash scene.
Police and K9 teams searched the woods for Lehane before he eventually surrendered to them.
State Police say Lehane showed signs of impairment including an odor of alcohol on his breath and bloodshot and glassy eyes.
He also refused to perform field sobriety tests and was taken into custody on charges of OUI-Liquor; Negligent operation of a motor vehicle; Leaving the scene of a crash causing property damage; and Marked lanes violation.
Lehane posted a bail of $540 and is expected to be arraigned in the Quincy District Court.
No one in the home was injured and although the home sustained structural damage the Quincy Building Inspector determined that it was safe for the family to remain in the house for the night.
