A Plymouth man is facing kidnapping charges after allegedly attacked his estranged wife.
Plymouth Police say that at around 9 a.m. Friday, a 39-year-old man, wearing a mask and possessing handcuffs, violated a restraining order by showing up at her residence.

He is then accused of picking her up, and grabbing her by the head and neck while she was holding one of their children.
The woman was able to scream and Jamie Costa, a lifelong Plymouth resident, Blue Eagle, and former Corrections Officer, began yelling at the man to leave her alone and lined him up for what police called “a good old fashioned football tackle.”
The man then allegedly pulled a handgun from his waistband.
Two brothers, Jeffrey “Chili” Williams, and David Williams, who were working nearby, also heard the screams, and rushed to help.
One of the brothers had a license to carry a firearm and pulled his weapon and the other assisted Jamie as he tackled and disarmed the man.
They held him until an officer arrived and the man was taken into custody on charges of violation of a restraining order, A&B on a family member, Kidnapping, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, and Reckless Endangerment of a Child.
Police say two replica firearms and a stiletto knife were taken from the man.
