Meet Bentley! Bentley is the sweetest 7-year-old Pit Mix currently hanging with Buddy and Friends Animal Rescue’s Assistant Foster Director. Buddy and Friends is searching for a home for Bentley and they will consider a foster home or a full-time, permanent home.
Bentley loves cheese sticks, snuggling under blankets, giving kisses and playing with stuffies (stuffed animals). Bentley is a talker — she will have full-on conversations with you! She loves going for walks but she also enjoys a good relaxation session — she will even hold your hand when she wants you to pet her.
This older lady wants to be the only dog in her home. Even though she was an owner surrender we do not really know her history with other dogs but we do see she becomes nervous around them. She is good with kiddos.
Bentley has eye allergies which are currently being treated with eye drops. She needs to be spayed and needs her hernia fixed as well. She is house trained and she will go to her leash and to the door when she needs to go out. Though she doesn’t love going in her crate, once she is in she is a perfect lady. She also knows a few commands like sit, down and paw.
The team at Buddy and Friends have noticed one bad habit: she’s a huge leash puller— but she is slowly starting to get better the more she settles in!
If you are looking for medium to low energy love bug, Miss Bentley is your girl! Please fill out a foster application with CARE South Coast at caresouthcoast.com or with BuddyandFriendsMA.org/foster.
