Wareham and State Police are investigating after two people suffered fatal injuries in a dirt bike crash.
Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz says around 10:52 p.m. on Saturday, two 9-1-1 calls reported a crash between a dirt bike and a vehicle near 121 Marion Road.
On arrival, two male victims were located unresponsive in the roadway with serious injuries. Both were transported to Tobey Hospital where they were pronounced dead.
They were identified as 17-year-old Robert Stalker, of Woburn, and 20-year-old Brady Petrucci of Raynham.
Early investigation indicates they were riding on a Kawasaki dirt bike and were not wearing helmets. There were no front or rear lights on the dirt bike.
The pair were on the dirt bike and crashed into a 2017 Buick Envision that was turning left onto Gibbs Road from Marion Road. The operator of the vehicle stopped immediately.
The investigation remains ongoing.
