Two firefighters were injured responding to a two alarm fire in Weymouth.
Fire officials tell WATD News that shortly after midnight on Wednesday they received a report of a fire at 21 School St. with the fire reaching two alarms at one point.
The residents of the home got out safely, but sadly some cats weren’t able to get out.
The two firefighters sustained minor injuries and were transported to South Shore Hospital.
Damage to the home is estimated to be over $100,000 and the cause remains under investigation.
