The Labor Day weekend may not officially be underway yet, but many folks are already taking to the roadways.
Mark Schieldrop, a Senior Spokesperson for AAA Northeast tells WATD News the uptick in air travel has been significant.
While travel would be traditionally wrapped up by Monday, Schieldrop says it may extend a little later into the week.
He says this may be due in part to more flexible work schedules.
Schieldrop advises travelers to plan their trips before heading out and says that leaving early as possible is often the best move.
