An opening night loss to Hanover now seems a distant memory for a Duxbury team that has found it’s stride.
After an impressive road win over perennial power Mansfield in Week 2, the Dragons returned home to thump Franklin, pulling away with two scores in the final two minutes of the first half.
Another win over another quality opponent, Duxbury has rebounded nicely, and appear to once again be the threat that they are always expected to be.

With two capable and explosive options at quarterback in senior Finn Carley and junior Trevor Jones, the Duxbury offense is ready to go fast this year.
Heading into a bye week during Week 4, the Dragons will have a chance to rest up and stockpile energy for the stretch run, as they look to push their Patriot League Keenan Division undefeated streak to 15 years this season.
Carley, Jones, and captains Alex Barlow, Jack Johnson, Spencer Moore, and Adam Barr joined the Sports Exchange this Sunday to discuss lessons learned in Week 1, their big win over Franklin, and defending their league and state title this season.
