A Duxbury woman was indicted on charges that she murdered her three children.
Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz says a grand jury returned indictments, charging 32-year-old Lindsay Clancy on counts of murder and strangulation.
She’s accused of using exercise bands to strangle 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson, and 8-month-old Callan Clancy.
Lindsay Clancy pleaded not guilty to charges during a February arraignment at Plymouth District Court.
In January, Duxbury police responded to a home on Summer Street after a 9-1-1 call reported a suspected suicide attempt.
First responders located Clancy, who was treated on scene and transported to the hospital.
The three children were located in the basement, with obvious signs of trauma. Two were transported to the hospital, where they later died. Callan Clancy was medflighted to Boston Children’s Hospital, where he was treated for several days before he passed away.
At her District Court arraignment, Lindsay Clancy’s attorney, Kevin Reddington, says Clancy was struggling with mental health issues and was taking a variety of medications.
She is currently being held without bail, and will be arraigned in Plymouth Superior Court at a later date.
