One person has died and two others were injured following an early morning crash in Pembroke.
Massachusetts State Police say that at 3:47 a.m. Tuesday Troopers responded to a single-car crash on Route 3 south, near Route 139.
One of the vehicle’s occupants was pronounced dead the other two occupants were injured and transported to an area hospital.
State Police say Information about the deceased victim is not being released at this time.
Both travel lanes on Route 3 south were closed at various times as a result of the crash but all lanes have since been reopened.
The incident remains under investigation by the State Police-Norwell Barracks, State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, State Police Crime Scene Services Section, and State Police Detective Unit for Plymouth County.
