Hull Special Town Meeting Approves Emergency Middle School Repairs, Recreational Marijuana Zoning

Voters in Hull approved emergency middle school repairs, and considered allowing recreational marijuana sales in town at a Special Town Meeting.
Town Manager, Jen Constable, says there was a request for $600,000 dollars to repair the Fort Revere Tower, that was not approved.
Articles 7, 8, and 9 were approved. The articles requested zoning changes to allow for retail marijuana sales at dispensaries.
Article one, a zoning article for accessory dwelling units, was referred to study and could appear on the Annual Town Meeting Warrant.
There were as many as 500 voters in attendance for the Special Meeting. The Hull Special Town Meeting concluded in one night.
