MBTA General Manager and CEO Phillip Eng addressed the release of two pivotal reports focused on a track maintenance safety evaluation.
Eng said one of the tasks they have been working on since his tenure has begun has been to establish standard operating procedures for inspections and documentation practices.
Eng says they have filled various positions including a new Chief of Stations, Chief of Infrastructure, and Senior Advisor for Capital Operations and Safety.
