Norwell Family Treats More than 200 Veterans to Lunch

For the tenth year in a row there has been a gathering of local Norwell veterans at a luncheon to say “thank you, again” for their service. 

This year’s recent luncheon was at Alba, in Hanover– the entire cost was picked up by the same generous Norwell family. 

The event was organized by Norwell Veterans agent, David Osborne.

Wally Rockwell, Sr. at 100 years old, was proud to be the oldest veteran in attendance.

Plymouth County Sheriff Joe McDonald says it’s hard to imagine our present day world and freedoms without the contributions of our veterans.

And local vets, like Norma Morgan say they enjoyed the company and the food. 

After Morgan’s time out west she came back to the east coast.
