A search in Milton will lead to closures near Turners Pond.
The Milton Police Department says that at approximately 8 a.m. Tuesday walking trails and parking lots will be closed to the public.
The closures are part of their efforts to locate missing person Kevin Brennan, and a land search will be conducted in conjunction with the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council and will include numerous canine & search teams.
Officials say Brennan’s cell phone last pinged around the pond.
There is no danger to the public but it may cause inconvenience to visitors to the pond and walkers to the Glover School.
Police say they expect this disruption to last no longer than a few hours to one day, depending on what is uncovered in the search.
Brennan has been missing since August 14.
He is described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds and was last seen wearing gray shorts, white tee-shirt, black Asics sneakers and a white and gray baseball hat.
Police say Brenna has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder as well as suffering from other complicating factors.
