Week 3 is upon us, and that means it’s time for another WATD High School Football Fantasy Draft!
We’ll continue selecting one quarterback, two running backs, and two wide receivers, and this year we’ve added one team defense.

In a bit of friendly competition, we’ll see whose squad wins out each week.
Statistics will be used to calculate points on a modified fantasy scale, with touchdowns worth six points, quarterbacks receiving one point per 25 yards passed, and every 10 yards rushing or receiving earning one point as well.
Defensively, points will be strictly based on how many points a team surrenders. A shutout earns 10 points, while 1 to 6 points allowed earns 8, 7 to 13 earns 6, 14 to 20 earns 4, 21 to 27 earns 2, 28 to 34 earns 1, and 35+ does not earn any.
Week 2 Draft Results
While the final scores are not entirely completed, it was another tightly contested week.
Jordan Depina (Rockland; Johnny’s Squad) earned top scorer and top quarterback honors with his 37.9 points, thanks largely to a big day rushing the football (219 yds rush, 3 TD).
Jay Comeau (Cardinal Spellman; Quinn’s Squad) led all receivers thanks to his three touchdown day, cashing in with 30.2 points (2 rec, 72 yds, 2 TD; KR TD (82 yds), 5/6 XP).
The top running back of the week goes to Liam Appleton (Cohasset; Brendan’s Squad) with an even 25 points on a day highlighted by two touchdowns (9 car, 38 yds, TD; 6 rec, 84 yds, TD; 1/2 passing 21 yds).
Week 3 Draft
Though the prior week’s results were not finalized, the order was determined to be Brendan selecting first, Quinn second, and Johnny third.
