Two people were hospitalized following a crash in Kingston Sunday night.
Kingston Police say crews were sent to the area of 25 Main St. for a motor vehicle crash and the road was closed for some time.
An initial investigation has concluded that a motorcycle was travelling south on Main St (Rt. 3A) when a vehicle travelling north on Main St. turned left, in front of the motorcycle, causing a collision between the two vehicles.
The motorcycle operator was Medflighted to a Boston hospital, and a passenger of the motorcycle was transported via ambulance to the BID-Plymouth Hospital.
Their injuries are being described as non -life-threatening.
The driver of the suspect vehicle then allegedly abandoned his damaged vehicle up the road, and fled the scene.
Police say they have identified the driver and criminal charges are being filed including: Leave Scene of Crash Resulting in Personal Injury; Leave Scene of Crash Resulting in Property Damage: and Fail to Yield.
