Members of the Braintree Girl Scout Troop 62286 will be holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony for The Necessities Co-Op, a free pantry with non-food essentials for people.
Cadette Girl Scouts Rileigh McLoughlin and Sophie Pradhan are leading the effort, as part of their Silver Award project to improve the community.
Items include feminine hygiene products, body care, and baby care items.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony takes place on Sunday at 3 p.m., on Hall Avenue in Braintree.
