The Weymouth Senior Center has been shut down and converted to a temporary Red Cross Shelter after a Tuesday night fire at a housing complex.
Fire Chief Keith Stark tells WATD News that the incident caused an estimated $20,000 in damage and cleanup crews were called.
No injuries were reported.
Stark estimates it will be roughly a day or two before residents can return to their apartments.
The Senior Center will remain closed with all events and activities cancelled during that time.
