Four Questions On Ballot For Cohasset Special Town Election On Saturday

Cohasset will be holding a Special Town Election on Saturday with four questions on the ballot.

Question one requests funds to move all town offices to the first floor of a building under construction at 1 Pleasant St., and would include 13 rental units – four affordable – on the second and third floors.

Question two requests $10.4 million to renovate a building at 135 King St. (Route 3A) to serve as the new police station and a sub-station for the Fire Department.

Question three would create a stabilization fund for school repairs.

The fourth and final question would create a stabilization fund to maintain and repair roadways and sidewalks.

All four questions were previously approved at Special Town Meeting.

Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Town of Cohasset Auditorium at 41 Highland Ave.
