Two women are facing charges in connection with theft of almost $4,000 worth of merchandise from CVS pharmacy in Cohasset.
Cohasset Det. Lt. Michael Lopes, is in charge of the town’s criminal investigation department.
The women are possibly part of a larger investigation and alleged criminal conspiracy that involves retail theft from several other local pharmacies including Hingham, Quincy and Weymouth, with a total of more than 40 grand of stolen merchandise.
The women facing felony charges of “organized retail theft” are identified as 23-year-old Niculina Lazar, of Anaheim, California and Aurora Miclescu, of Baltimore, Maryland.
