We are doing a hail Mary post for Mac!! The team at Buddy & Friends Animal Rescue in Pembroke tell us Mac is miserable in boarding and needs a very experienced handler. His boarding bill is $1,200 a month and we cannot allow him to continue to be miserable and living in a crate. This is his final plea.

Mac is a super sweet and happy-go-lucky 3 year old Lab mix weighing around 54 pounds. His signature move is laying down with his back legs like frog legs and crossing his paws! He’s super goofy, playful, sweet with humans, and he also enjoys lounging in the sun. Mac has been through a 4 week behavior modification board and train and he knows his on leash commands. Mac knows sit, down, heel, come, and place, all with an implied stay. Mac’s training MUST be kept up with. If you cannot commit to this, do not apply for Mac. Free training will be provided with Mac’s adoption from A Dog’s World Unleashed.

Mac struggles with other dogs in his space and near his resources. He’s perfectly fine with dogs when they give him his space and respect his wishes, but would do best being the only dog in the home. Mac would also do best in an active home. He has a bite history and will need a lot of structure. Someone who will take him on walks and get him exercise. He will happily show you he can carry sticks four times his size.  Mac is neutered, up to date on shots & preventives and microchipped
