Duxbury residents are being told to anticipate brown water throughout the day on Friday.
Officials say this is due to the after effects of two water main breaks Thursday night in the Powder Point Ave./Cove St. areas.
Those who are experiencing discoloration are being told they can flush water through a cold spigot.
While periods of discoloration may be extended, officials say the water is safe for use.
