School will be dismissed early on Monday for elementary school students in Carver.
School officials say that “due to the current weather conditions, Carver Elementary School is without power and that the backup generator has also had a partial failure.
They say that the school currently has internet, phones and water but no other power and as a result, they will be dismissing students at 11 a.m. and there will be no PM Preschool.
Bus service will be provided for students who ride the bus, students who are car riders are being told to follow the usual procedure.
Parents are being asked to update the Pick-up Patrol with any changes.
Parents who are unable to be at home or pick-up their students are being asked to contact the school at 508-866-6210 and staff will remain at school until all students are able to be dismissed.
All afterschool activities at the Elementary school are canceled.
Carver Middle High School has power and officials say they plan to have a full day of school.
Officials say that Carver Town Hall is also closed due to a power outage.
