A roadway in Norwell was closed Thursday night due to a police incident.
Norwell Police say officers responded to a home on Forest Street for “a person in crisis.”
The incident took place around 9:30 p.m. and officials were asking people to avoid the area of Forest St. and Circuit St.
Police say the incident was resolved and the roadway was re-opened.
No further information is being provided at this time.
Metro-LEC units including Special Weapons and Tactical (SWAT), Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT), ISU Detectives, Drones and K9 responded to the scene as well as Massachusetts State Police EOD, Norwell Fire Department, Scituate Police Department, Cohasset Police Department, Hull Police Department and Hingham Police Department.
