A guilty plea was entered in federal court in Boston on Wednesday by a Brockton man charged with coercing three minors to produce child sexual abuse material.
The U.S. Attorney’s office says that 46-year-old Zaire Aquil Lodge pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual exploitation of children and one count of receipt of child pornography.
According to the indictment Lodge employed, used, persuaded, induced and coerced three minors to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing the material.
In addition he is alleged to have received and attempted to receive child sexual abuse material between February and October 2021.
A federal grand jury indicted Lodge in January 2023.
The U.S. Attorney’s office says charges of sexual exploitation of children provide for a sentence of at least 15 years and up to 30 years in prison, at least five years and up to a lifetime of supervised release and a fine of up to $250,000. The charge of receipt of child pornography provides for a sentence of at least five years and up to 20 years in prison, at least five years and up to a lifetime of supervised release and a fine of up to $250,000.
Sentencing is scheduled to take place in April.
