The robbery took place around 4 p.m. Thursday at the CVS in South Braintree Square.
Braintree Police put out a notice asking people to avoid the area, and stay inside as they were undertaking a search in the area involving K9 units.
Eventually police said that they were breaking down the perimeter and that they believed the suspect “made it out of the area.”
