Two people are in custody following a crash in Braintree Thursday afternoon.
Massachusetts State Police say that at around 4:30 p.m. they responded to assist Quincy Police in searching for two narcotics suspects who fled from a motor vehicle crash at the Route 3/Route 93 split.
The suspects are accused failing to stop for Quincy officers, and after crashing, fleeing into the adjacent woods.
A State Police Helicopter located the two suspects shortly before 6 p.m. allegedly attempting to hide, lying prone on a granite outcrop.
Ground units were directed to their location, and both men were taken into custody by Quincy Police.
In addition, Quincy Police tell WATD News that they located a gun near the scene on Friday morning.
The suspects’ names have not yet been released.
