Crews are on scene of a water line break in Pembroke.
Town officials say the Water Department is working now to repair a water line on Woodbine Ave. and say water technicians may have to shut the water off for a short period to make the repair.
Upon completion of the repair residents may have discolored water or debris coming from their faucets.
Officials say if this occurs they recommend following the flushing method to clear out your water line which involves running your outside water spigot closest to your water meter or run the “Cold” water in your Kitchen sink “Slowly” for 20 to 30 minutes.
Then you should turn the water off, wait one hour and keep repeating this process again until your water runs clear.
