Crews were called to the scene of a fire in Brockton Thursday morning.
Deputy Fire Chief Scott Albanese says that at around 8:15 a.m. a civilian went to Station 3 on N. Main St to report a building fire.
Crews arrived on scene at 573-585 N. Main St. to find a fire showing from the third floor.
Albanese says they were able to evacuate two residents from the building while they viciously attacked the fire.
No injuries were reported but 20 occupants were displaced including 16 adults and 4 children, they are being assisted by the Red Cross.
Firefighters were on scene for roughly 3 1/2 hours and the damage is estimated at around $60,000.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
