Since the MIAA moved to a statewide tournament in 2021, the Norwell girls basketball team has not faced a true road game in the playoffs.
For a third straight season, it will be all comforts of home until potential appearances in the neutral site Final Four and Championship rounds for the Clippers.
After dropping their opening night contest to Sandwich, Norwell has rattled off 19 straight wins, good enough to claim the #2 seed in the Division 3 tournament.

Each of their last two tournament runs have ended in disappointing losses to Bishop Fenwick; first in the Elite 8 in 2022, and last year in a two-point Final Four defeat.
This year, though, the Clippers believe will be different.
Juniors Paige Maguire, Maddie Oliver, and Reagan Dowd, and freshman Alex Cassidy joined the Sports Exchange to discuss all of this year’s success, and how they plan to take the next step this year in the MIAA Tournament.
