One person was hospitalized after being struck by a SUV in Quincy Point Tuesday night.
Quincy Police say that at approximately 6 p.m. they received reports that a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle in the area of 1020 Southern Artery.
Initial reports indicate that a mid-size dark colored SUV struck a pedestrian in a crosswalk and fled northbound on Southern Artery towards South St.
Police say the vehicle is believed to have damage to the passenger side bumper, hood and windshield.
The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital, no further information about their condition is available at this time.
