A driving instructor at the Brockton RMV has pleaded guilty to fraud charges.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says that 48-year-old Ngan Dinh of Boston pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit honest services mail fraud.
Dinh was charged with paying a road test examiner at the Brockton RMV service center to report that certain driver’s license applicants had passed their road test when in fact they had not.
In some cases the applicants did not even show up to take the test.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says that driver’s licenses were then mailed to applicants who had not proved they were qualified.
