Meet Jo-Jo! Jo-Jo is a spunky 6-year-old male Yorkie who weighs around 6 lbs. Our friends at Yorkies Inc. were asked by a local ACO if they could take in Jo-Jo as a shelter with all bigger dogs is not the place little Jo-Jo needs to be. 

The team is still getting to know him, but he seems like a happy little guy with his full tail always wagging. He loves to go for walks and being outside sniffing away. He enjoys sitting on your lap or snuggling next to you on the couch. He likes being patted and will even roll over for belly rubs. He tends to prefer for you to pick him up from the side rather than face on, not sure why.



He doesn’t like when you go upstairs and leave him downstairs, especially if he sees you go over a baby gate leaving him behind. He will cry, bark, and spin around by the gate waiting for you to come back. He gets very excited when he sees you come back. He would do best in a home that doesn’t need to use gates for safety purposes. He wants to be able to come up the stairs with you or even better if you live on one floor. He does seem to have some of that Yorkie spunk, can be vocal and would love to be the boss if you let him, which we don’t recommend!
