On Friday night, the Sailors faithful packed in the gym at Scituate High for a visit from Chicopee Comp.
Scituate, the 15 seed in Division 2, was facing a likely final home game for its seniors.
With a spot in the Sweet 16 on the line, the Sailors were able to take control late in a back-and-forth affair and punch their ticket forward with a 63-60 win.

Despite early offensive struggles and a spurt of hot shooting by the Colts, Scituate built a fourth quarter lead late that proved insurmountable for the visitors.
A balanced offensive attack was led by senior captains Brian Good (18 points) and Michael Porter (17 points).
Fellow captain Ryan Dunn made a key steal late that helped lock down the win for the Sailors, minutes after a critical and emotionally charging and-one.
