A man being sought in connection with the shooting death of his brother has been arrested in Maine.
The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office says that at approximately 2:17 a.m. Sunday, Brockton Police received a 911 call for a report of a shooting at 36 Hoover Ave.
Upon arrival they found a man who was shot in the chest.
The victim, identified as 27-year-old Sedrick Abreu was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A warrant was executed at 36 Hoover Ave., where the District Attorney’s says several items of evidentiary value were secured and two men, identified as 24-year-old Sirick Amado and 26-year-old Antonio Dejesus were arrested and charged with Accessory to the Homicide.
Both men pleaded not guilty at their arraignments Monday in Brockton District Court and were ordered held without bail pending the outcome of a dangerousness hearing scheduled for Thursday.
A warrant was also obtained for the victim’s brother, 20-year-old Jeremiah Abreu who was apprehended at around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday leaving a home in Lewiston, Maine.
He is scheduled to be arraigned on a Murder charge in Brockton District Court at a later date.
