Fire officials say the fire took place on Saint George St.
Firefighters arrived on scene to see fire showing out of the electrical panel and spreading up the electrical pipe to the roof.
The fire was contained to the outside and no injuries were reported.
Marshfield, Kingston, Plympton and Pembroke provided mutual aid.
