Norwell Police Investigating Wallet Thefts

Norwell Police are investigating a series of wallet thefts at local stores.
Police say that in all of the incidents, the victim has placed their purse inside of a shopping cart and the wallet is then stolen out of the purse leaving the purse in the shopping cart.
The suspects are often seen on video surveillance posing as regular shoppers allowing the suspects time to leave the store and charge items at different locations before the victim is even aware the wallet is missing.
Police say the incidents have occurred all over Massachusetts and it is suspected the suspects are not from the South Shore area.
