A report at around 1 a.m. Tuesday of gunshots at 524 Ash St., in Brockton, led to the discovery of two people shot.
The woman, identified as 56 year-old Sheron Trowers was found first with multiple gunshot wounds in the driveway.
Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz briefed the media.
Trowers was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital where she was pronounced dead of her injuries.
Cruz said the initial investigation points to a murder-suicide.
D.A Cruz says help is available for people who may be in a situation where domestic violence is occurring.
