Crews were called to the scene of a two-alarm fire in Scituate.
Fire officials say that at approximately 12:15 p.m. Friday they received a call from a resident reporting a fire in the attic space of his Salt Meadow Ln. home.
Upon arrival first responders found heavy smoke and flames from the roof of the single family home.
A second alarm was called and crews from Hanover, Norwell, Cohasset and Marshfield are among the communities providing mutual aid.
No injuries were reported.
At this time there’s no official word regarding potential damage.
