A Watertown man is facing charges connected to a shooting outside a Randolph nightclub.
Randolph Police say that shortly after 2 a.m. on April 20 officers were dispatched to Mazzeo Dr. for a report of shots fired outside the Mojitos Nightclub.
An investigation determined that an individual, later identified as 33-year-old Shamere Ross, had been standing in the parking lot and allegedly brandished a firearm as patrons were leaving for the night.
Ross is accused of firing three shots at a male victim, who fled the scene on foot.
No injuries were reported, however an occupied motor vehicle was struck by gunfire and ballistic evidence was subsequently recovered during the investigation.
Warrants were issued for Ross at around 6 o’clock Wednesday morning and he was taken into custody without incident.
He was arraigned Wednesday in Quincy District Court on charges of Armed Assault to Murder (Firearm); Carrying a Firearm Without a License; Discharging a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Building; and Possession of a Firearm.
