Meet Delia and Elle
Delia and Elle were found in the city of Boston as strays, two days apart. Both shy ladies separate, when they saw each other it was a reunion of long lost friends. Clearly related, we don’t know how they separated but we are really glad they found their way together.
Delila, the white poodle, does need her eye removed. This will be done through the shelter and will only add to her charm.
Elle, the brown poodle, has chronic dry eye and will require medication the remainder of her life.
These ladies are looking for a home together, we will not be separating them. They are reserved and very shy apart, but together are a pair of peppy little pals. They are fun dogs who can likely live with humans of any age but may prefer a more quiet home as they do have a tiny bit of fear.
Poodle do require regular grooming, an added expense adopters needs to be aware of.
These delightful little dogs have many human friends with our friends at the Shelter. They are truly lovable dogs who will bring lots of joy to their new family.
We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there.
Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm to see the animals. You can apply for animal at the shelter during open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow the non-profit to continue to help pets in need.
Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and it’s been determined you are the best fit. The shelter does not operate on a first come, first served basis.
