A 43-year-old Duxbury woman was sentenced in Superior Court on Thursday in connection with her conviction in the hit and run death of 46-year-old Andrea Gordon of Duxbury.
Kristina Blackmore was sentenced by Judge Diane Freniere to six to eight years in state prison.

Blackmore was found guilty Wednesday on two charges: leaving the scene of personal injury and death (felony) and motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation (misdemeanor)
Prosecutors say Blackmore was driving a Dodge Ram pickup truck on June 9th of 2019, just past 6:30 pm, on Washington St., in Duxbury, when she struck Andrea Gordon, who was out walking.
Blackmore left the scene of the crash.
Investigators pieced together evidence and witness statements and were the able to obtain an arrest warrant for Blackmore.
A relative of Blackmore’s worked in the WATD Sales Department 30 years ago.
