A Duxbury woman has been found guilty in Plymouth Superior Court (Wednesday) in connection with the death of another Duxbury woman, 46-year-old Andrea Gordon, who was walking on Washington Street, in Duxbury, when she was hit by a motor vehicle.
Kristina Blackmore reportedly left the scene of that crash, just past 6:30 on June 9, 2019.
After an investigation, involving testimony from witnesses and evidence collected at the scene, police found the vehicle that struck Gordon was a Dodge Ram pickup. Investigators located the pickup with damage at a home in Duxbury and Mass State Police obtained an arrest warrant for Blackmore.
43-year-old Kristina Blackmore was found guilty of leaving the scene of personal injury and death and motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation.
Blackmore is scheduled to be sentenced Thursday morning.
A relative of Blackmore’s worked in the WATD sales department 30 years ago.
