Transit Police say that at approximately 5:13 a.m. Tuesday a man intentionally placed himself on the right of way on the Middleboro Line in Brockton.
He was then struck by an MBTA Commuter rail train and has been pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.
Officials say foul play is not suspected and that investigators remain on scene.
