Say hello once again to Simba! You may recall seeing this pup a few months ago when we featured him for the team at Buddy & Friends Animal Rescue in Pembroke — well, he still needs our help!
Simba is a 2-year-old, French Mastiff, Pit mix — but huge, handsome, lovable smoosh fits him too.
Simba is a super goofy dog who loves to play with his squeaky toys. He loves his people, and always wants attention from his human friends. He has lived with dogs in his previous home!
Simba has a lot of puppy attitudes still. You get the puppy energy, but he’s crate and potty trained! He loves to do his training and will work even for his plain kibble! Treats are like an extra fun reward for Mr. Simba.
He is a rockstar for the vet, good in the tub and lets the team cut his toenails! He is going to make someone a great pup! Simba is a high energy boy and would probably do best in a home without small children— he’s not sure how big he is when he’s zooming around.
Simba does experience separation anxiety, and Buddy & Friends are currently working with their veterinarian to help him. He also prefers to eat his bones and play with toys without other dogs around.
