Crews were called to the scene of an early Monday morning fire at 192 Brook St. in Plympton.
Fire Captain John Sjostedt tells WATD News that no injuries were reported, but the home sustained significant damage.
One person was displaced.
Kingston, Halifax, and Carver provided mutual aid, while Middleborough provided station coverage.
Sjostedt says the fire doesn’t appear to be suspicious and the cause is believed to be accidental.
