One Medflighted Following Route 3 Crash

Two people were hospitalized following a crash on Route 3 in Plymouth Sunday night.
Fire Chief Neil Foley says that at approximately 8:11 p.m., the Plymouth Fire Department responded to Route 3 for a report of a single-vehicle crash with entrapment.
They found a single vehicle that went off the southbound lanes of the road and into the woods and the adult male driver, was heavily entrapped and had to be freed by using hydraulic extrication tools.
Another man was also in the vehicle and treated by firefighters, with both men sustaining serious injuries.
The driver was MedFlighted to a Rhode Island trauma center, while the passenger was transported to South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.
The incident is being investigated by the Massachusetts State Police.
