Water Service Break In Scituate

A water service break is being reported in Scituate.
Town officials say the water service break took place on Longley Rd. and will impact service on Longley Rd., Ermine Rd., and a portion of Norwell Ave.
Crews are onsite making repairs and officials says it will likely be 3-4 hours before service is restored.
When service does return there may be some discoloration in the water and residents are urged to check for discoloration before doing laundry and are being told to allow the water to flush from an outside spigot before using.
